RETURN POLICY

All sales are final. We do our best to photograph the work so that it is an accurate representation of each piece, but ultimately, translating a three-dimensional piece of art into a 2-dimensional photograph is never going to be perfect. Please keep in mind that each piece has been made by hand; no two are exactly the same. Due to the handmade nature of the products, measurements may vary slightly as well as glaze and clay hues. Each piece has its own character and feel and that is why we love them.

If the item(s) arrive damaged, please ship the item(s) back to us and we'll offer a credit or replacement of the retail price. Please contact us within 48 hours of the item being received at shalya(at)shalyamarsh.com

PRODUCT CARE

Care for Tar Paper Stencils

These stencils are laser cut Tar paper, also known as roofing felt, or underlayment. Tar paper is a heavy-duty waterproof material used in construction. It's a durable, fibrous material that's flexible yet rigid, making it perfect for stencils and templates.

The tar paper will become damp after use. It is recommended that you allow the stencil to dry slightly before reusing it. To clean the stencil lightly sponge off any clay residue and leave it flat to dry. Tar paper templates will last for multiple uses if handled properly.

Caring for Ceramics or Tile

Tiles may accumulate dust over time.  They can be gently cleaned with a soft cloth using vinegar and water, mild soap, or tile cleaner of your choosing.  Please note that not all cleaners may be suitable.

Framed tiles can be unscrewed from the back to clean or dust the frame.

Pottery is dishwasher and microwave safe (unless it is decorated with gold luster as metals should not go in the microwave).

Caring for Jewelry

Porcelain jewelry is fragile, and takes a bit of simple, special care. Store pieces in a closed container away from other jewelry that could scratch them, especially items with gold luster.  Keep jewelry dry; please do not shower with it or store it in the bathroom.

When traveling, keep jewelry in a box to prevent pressure and breakage. Be careful when removing pieces over hard surfaces like tile and concrete. Keep your jewelry clean by removing it before applying lotion or perfume. Unglazed surfaces can become slightly dirty over time from handling--simple use a mild soap and scrub gently with a soft cloth. Silver and gold findings will naturally darken over time and exposure to air. It can be brightened up with a soft polishing cloth.
